Cambridge Historical Commission
The Commission’s 75 manuscript collections and 40+ photograph collections span the 18th to 21st centuries, and are particularly strong in Cambridge’s architectural history, built environment and history of industry and business in Cambridge from the 19th to 20th centuries.
The Cambridge Historical Commission is the historic preservation agency for the City of Cambridge. The commission maintains a public archive and research library focusing on the city's architectural and social history. Holdings include information on every Cambridge building, atlases, city directories, historic photographs, and biographical files or manuscript collections on notable residents.
